Message	in the correct rotation of the tire and inside the arrow it ussually states this. Every time i have my new tires mounted i make sure the wheels arnt backwards but more importanlty the tires are on correct. Every car that comes into my shop with a directional time, i check them for proper direction. If your accident was cause by a hydroplane condition, it most likely aided the action by guiding water to the inner tread.
